Natural lapis lazuli – royal blue raw piece with golden...

This exceptionally intense lapis lazuli raw specimen captivates with its deep, rich royal blue—a color quality that for thousands of years has stood as the epitome of luxury and rarity. The surface displays an impressive depth of color with hardly any lightening, making the blue appear especially powerful and pure. Finely embedded pyrite particles run through the rock like golden points of light in the night sky. These natural inclusions give the piece a vivid, almost cosmic aura and underline its high quality. Occasional bright calcite zones at the matrix edge provide a natural contrast and emphasize the stone’s original character. The compact, massive form showcases the exceptional color intensity particularly well. Each view reveals new golden accents and fine structures in the dense ultramarine blue. A rare, particularly color-rich collectible in gemstone quality—powerful, expressive, and of timeless elegance.
