Natural Chevron - Amethyst Sphere- 2380.11 g

This fascinating sphere of Chevron Amethyst shows an impressive combination of deep violet, almost black-looking zones and delicate white quartz veining that winds through the rock in a typical Chevron pattern. The notable, V-shaped bands are formed by the natural intergrowth of amethyst with milky quartz and create an exciting play of light and color. The polished surface intensifies the patterning and gives the sphere a smooth, almost glassy sheen. Depending on the angle of light, the structures appear soft and blended at times, crystalline and clearly delineated at others. An extraordinary collector’s piece with meditative depth and optical refinement.
