He received his artistic training in Budapest, where he came into contact with Impressionist movements at a very early age, which would shape his work during his most productive period. In addition to motifs from France, the Netherlands, and England, his work is characterized by the landscape of the Southern Tatras, a small mountain range in Slovakia. As his success grew, the artist withdrew more and more from social life in Budapest until he died in 1932 in his adopted home in Hungary.Signs of age, in need of minor restoration, frame damaged.*This is an automatically generated translation from German by deepl.com and only to be seen as an aid - not a legally binding declaration of lot properties.
