Murano glass - Necklace with pendant - Horizon

Description Entirely handmade in Murano, this necklace unites two essential shapes, the circle and the square, in a geometric composition with a bold and contemporary character. In the foreground, an opal-orange glass disc, lamp-worked, with a full, softly domed form. The glossy surface captures light and makes the color vibrate, warm and intense as a sun. Behind it opens a square slab of lavender lilac glass, rotated into a diamond, with a delicate clouded texture that recalls a veined stone. Its satin finish, slightly rough to the touch, creates a refined contrast with the disc’s brilliance. The pendant is mounted on a matte black rubber choker, soft and light, which keeps all attention on the play of shapes and colors. The pendant rests beneath the base of the neck, centered in the neckline. A design jewel, inspired by the essentiality of the avant-garde of the twentieth century, perfect over a plain-knit top or a black dress. Each piece is unique: the lavender glass clouding and the orange hues vary from jewel to jewel. Any small imperfections are the natural sign of handmade craftsmanship.
