Handmade entirely, this necklace is a small masterpiece of craftsmanship: a three-dimensional flower blooming at the center of two slender threads of red seed beads. The flower is built on a hand-shaped wire frame, onto which dozens of faceted glass beads are threaded one by one. Each bead is splashed with bright red, meadow green, amber, and blue-gray, and its facets catch the light with iridescent reflections. The wire gives shape to wavy, irregular petals, making the flower lively and never identical from any angle. At the center shines a red Murano glass bead with embedded aventurine: tiny copper crystals that glitter like gold dust beneath the glass. Aventurine is one of Venice’s oldest and most precious specialties. The two strands of red seed beads join at the ends with two golden beads and close with a lobster clasp. The extension chain, finished with a crimson red crystal, allows the length to be adjusted. Princess length brings the flower right at the base of the neck, where its volume and its reflections are best displayed, even with a simple neckline or a solid-color dress. A striking piece, perfect for evenings, parties, and special occasions, or to give character to a simple look. Each flower is unique: the shape of the petals and the arrangement of the beads vary from piece to piece, because they are built entirely by hand.
