Decorative collection of four vintage German lidded beer steins, dating mainly from the second half of the 20th century. The collection includes a striking GERZ hunting stein decorated in high relief with hunters and game and featuring an unusual sculptural fox-shaped handle; an Original Lerchen West Germany handcrafted stein with a richly decorated village and church landscape; a substantial polychrome German relief stein with an elaborate 95% pewter (Zinn 95%) hinged lid; and an unusual KING-WERK model 290/1 “Horn”, handmade in Germany and formed as a traditional drinking horn with painted landscape decoration. All four pieces have elaborate hinged metal/pewter lids and display the characteristic craftsmanship and richly moulded decoration associated with German collectible beer steins.
