North Africa, Upper Cretaceous, ca. 80 to 66 million years ago. A fossilized mosasaur skull with articulated jaws and teeth, likely from a juvenile individual. The elongated snout and hinged jaws are lined with conical teeth, with additional pterygoid teeth visible along the palate that aided in gripping prey.
