Toutes les enchères / Luminaire / Montegrappa - Montegrappa Paulo Coelho Limited Edition - Fountain pen
A0000004725 The pen is presented in very good overall condition, standing out for its excellent preservation both aesthetically and functionally. The black resin body maintains a deep, uniform shine, with no cracks or structural defects, showing only minor micro-scratches consistent with very light use. The metal superstructures in silver retain much of their original luster, with engravings perfectly defined. There are slight signs of use in the form of fine micro-scratches and a soft patina in certain areas, especially in reliefs and edges, something common in these kinds of pieces and that in no way detracts from its presence. The decorative elements, including the green inlays, are intact and well integrated. The clip maintains proper tension and alignment, and the screw-cap closure system operates smoothly and precisely. The 18K gold nib is in excellent condition, with no deformations, ensuring smooth writing. The pen has been serviced and is delivered fully operational. The limited numbering (0152/1000) is perfectly visible, reinforcing its status as a collectible piece. It should be noted that the pen comes with its original Montegrappa case, documentation and papers, as well as additional set elements, which significantly increase its value and appeal to collectors. Overall, this is a very well-preserved, complete example ready for use or collection, with a high-level aesthetic presence. Conservation recommendations: - Use high-quality fountain pen inks, avoid pigmented inks, clean with lukewarm water if not used for a while, dry before storage, keep in a dry place away from direct light and extreme temperatures, and operate the mechanism gently. Happy bidding!
