Montegrappa - Euro 2002 Limited Edition Fountain Pen...

A0000004873 Conservation state: very good. The pen presents an excellent overall appearance and maintains all the visual appeal typical of this Montegrappa limited edition. The translucent blue resin preserves its shine, depth, and color uniformity very well, with no cracks or appreciable structural damage. The elements made in 925 sterling silver show light micro-scratches and small signs of use compatible with careful handling and the passage of time, especially visible under direct light on the polished areas. The decorative engravings, contrasts, and numbering of the limited edition remain perfectly defined and legible. The original Montegrappa nib in solid 18-carat gold is in very good condition, correctly aligned and functional. The filling system has been serviced and the pen is delivered fully operational and ready for use. The set also retains its original presentation, including Montegrappa box, documentation, pouch, and accessories shown in the photographs. The box shows slight interior wear derived from storage and the passage of time, without affecting its functionality or the overall good presentation of the set. These original elements notably increase the interest and value of the piece for collectors. Conservation recommendations: - Use high-quality fountain pen inks and avoid pigmented inks. - Clean with warm water if not used for a while. - Dry completely before storing. - Store in a dry place, with no direct sunlight or extreme temperatures. - Operate the filling system and the cap gently to preserve the mechanisms and finishes. Happy bidding!
