Montblanc - Starwalker - Fountain pen

A0000004682 The pen is presented in very good overall condition, notable for excellent upkeep both aesthetically and functionally. The body in black precious resin preserves a deep, uniform shine, without cracks or structural damage, with only light micro-scratches consistent with careful and infrequent use. The cap maintains a firm and precise fit, with the rhodium-plated clip in good condition, free of deformations and with an appropriate level of tension. The metal details preserve their original finish, showing only minimal signs of handling practically imperceptible to the naked eye. The textured section shows very slight wear, maintaining its non-slip character and providing excellent ergonomics in use. This type of finish tends to reveal use before other surfaces, but in this case it is in very satisfactory condition. The 14K gold nib (Au585) is in good structural condition, with no visible deformations, proper alignment, and retaining its smooth and fluent writing ability. The feeding system works properly, ensuring a constant ink flow. The piece has been inspected and serviced, ensuring its correct functioning for immediate use. Overall, it is a well-preserved fountain pen, with normal signs of use but fully maintaining its aesthetic and functional qualities, ideal for daily use as well as for collection within the contemporary StarWalker line. Conservation recommendations It is recommended to use high-quality inks specifically for fountain pens, avoiding pigmented inks. In case of prolonged non-use, clean with lukewarm water, dry completely before storing and keep in a dry place away from direct light and extreme temperatures. Operate the filling system gently to preserve proper function. It will be sent in a courtesy box for proper conservation. Happy bidding!
