Montblanc - Meisterstück LeGrand (Mod. 161) Gold Line - Pen

Here we present the most imposing and authoritative expression of the classic line par excellence of the Hamburg maison: the Montblanc Meisterstück LeGrand Ballpoint Pen (Model 161) Gold Line. Unlike the more widespread Classique (164) model, the LeGrand (161) variant asserts itself with a diameter and heft visibly larger, ensuring a highly dramatic presence and a formidable grip, particularly appreciated by those who favor desk instruments with substantial weight and size. The cigar-shaped body is forged in the traditional deep black precious resin, mirror-polished to create a sophisticated and warm contrast with the bright yellow-gold plated finishes. We find the unmistakable drop-shaped clip, the three institutional concentric rings (with the engraving "MONTBLANC - MEISTERSTÜCK" on the central band) and the famous white star set atop. From a technical point of view, this is a very solid Ballpoint Pen. The tip release is governed by the reliable and fluid continuous-rotation mechanism (twist). As documented by the photographs showing the instrument disassembled, the pen uses the classic smooth Montblanc standard ballpoint refills. Regarding its condition, the item presents in good overall condition, but an evident personalization is noted. As clearly documented in the detail shot, on the resin cap side the initials in cursive "C.A." have been engraved. Net of this personalization, the precious resin maintains excellent overall brilliance and shows no cracks or structural chips, displaying only the physiological micro-scratches (hairlines) resulting from normal use. The yellow-gold plating is well preserved, shiny and free of oxidation.
