Montblanc - Meisterstück Classique - Pencil

We present at auction an authentic icon of timeless elegance: the Montblanc Meisterstück Classique portable pencil (model 165), characterized by a refined combination of black resin and gold details. This sophisticated writing instrument perfectly embodies the essence of the famous German maison, offering a design with universal appeal and uncompromising mechanical reliability, ideal for accompanying your notes or drawings with maximum precision. The body and cap are masterfully crafted in Montblanc's renowned black precious resin, whose smooth, deeply glossy surface creates a magnificent and luxurious contrast with the bright solid gold details, entirely and finely plated in yellow gold. The aesthetic is defined by the classic elegance of the sleek clip and the three unmistakable gold rings, of which the central, thicker one bears the sharp engraving of the brand name. At the rounded top of the cap stands the white six-pointed star, a universal symbol of prestige and artisanal mastery. On the upper ring of the clip is regularly inscribed the individual serial number. Technically, this prestigious specimen is configured as a retractable pencil, a smooth and precise mechanism activated by the classic cap rotation, designed to house leads with a fine and elegant line. The photographs showing the disassembled pencil reveal the perfect integrity of the solid internal metal structure, the cleanliness of the ink reservoir group, and the small eraser tucked under the cap. The conservation status of this fascinating instrument is to be considered generally excellent. The precious resin presents itself magnificently glossy and free of deep scratches, showing only microscopic and physiological superficial signs due to normal, careful, and respectful handling. The brilliant gold finishes are bright and perfectly preserved, free of oxidation or evident wear.
