Montblanc - Meisterstück Classique - Pen

We present at auction an absolute icon of writing: the renowned Montblanc Meisterstück Classique ballpoint pen, in its most traditional and appreciated guise, crafted in precious black resin with gold-plated finishes. This model embodies the very essence of elegance and the craftsmanship of the Hamburg-based house, becoming over time a symbol of status and professionalism. The body of the instrument is characterized by the classic, elegant torpedo shape, made of deep-gloss black resin. The warm gold metal finishes include the refined pocket clip, the lower cap end, and the three iconic central decorative rings, on which the brand inscription is finely engraved. To crown the pen’s silhouette, at the rounded summit of the cap, stands the unmistakable Montblanc white star emblem. From a technical standpoint, the instrument is equipped with a practical and reliable tip-retraction mechanism operated by rotation. The photographs showing the pen disassembled confirm the perfect integrity of the threading and the internal mechanism, housing the original refill inside the barrel. The condition of this specimen is classified as being in excellent overall condition. Unlike heavily used examples, the precious resin of this pen maintains a splendid overall luster, and the gold finishes—particularly the clip and the lower cap end—retain their original bright shine, free from deep scratches or evident plating loss. In strict accordance with our policy of total transparency, only minimal and imperceptible micro-scratches due to normal careful handling over time are noted, which do not in any way compromise the extraordinary aesthetic performance of the object.
