Montblanc - 252 Vintage (Años 50) - Clip Liso / Anillo...

A0000005733 VINTAGE MONTBLANC 252 BALLPOINT-STYLE FOUNTAIN PEN (GERMANY, CIRCA 1950s): We present at auction an excellent example from Montblanc’s golden era in the 1950s: the model 252. This series is highly valued by collectors for its cleaner, more modern lines compared to its contemporaries. The piece is crafted in a deep, glossy black color and is quickly distinguished from other families by two unmistakable details of this model: its single wide cap band and its elegant straight, flat clip. Atop the cap sits the iconic white star of the snowy peak. The heart of this instrument is its superb original solid gold 14K nib (engraved 14C), characteristic of this decade, ensuring a classic, high-quality writing experience. It features its original piston-filling system. Condition Report (Expert Review) This fountain pen, with over 60 years of history, shows an honest patina of use: Body and Cap: Retain excellent luster with no cracks. Metals: The gold plating on the cap-band and clip shows noticeable wear (brassing), very common in models from this era, exposing the base metal and giving the piece undeniable vintage character. Mechanism and Nib: The 14C nib is in excellent cosmetic condition. The piston mechanism rotates. (Expert note: As an antique piston system, it may require inspection or lubrication of the internal seal to guarantee a perfect vacuum for daily use. It ships clean and without the original case). Shipping The item will be carefully protected and securely packed, with insured shipping and an international tracking number. An extraordinary opportunity for collectors to acquire a 1950s celluloid Montblanc with one of the finest nibs ever produced by the brand! Wishing good luck to all bidders, and may we have an excellent auction!
