Molteni Gobelin d’Epoca – Scenografico

Gobelin Molteni vintage fabric from the 1970s/80s, a rare and scenographic high-density piece, rich in details and colors like only old Italian manufactories knew how to make. The pattern is a true fabric narrative: small panels in oriental style, with elephants adorned, figures in parade, palms, camelids, decorated pavilions and festive scenes, all interwoven in the tight, compact weave typical of Molteni gobelins of the era. Each section is a micro-scene, lively and narrative, capable of giving character to any project. The palette is warm and intense: sandy golden background, deep reds, emerald greens, Persian blues and touches of burgundy that stand out thanks to the typical cotton–viscose mixed structure, soft to the touch yet extremely robust. With its 480 x 140 cm, this cut is perfect for creating substantial cushion covers, decorative panels, backrests, seating, screens, valances, or even artistic bags. An era-specific fabric that is no longer found and that carries with it the charm of Molteni’s great productions of the past. A true collectible piece for those seeking quality, history and an aesthetic rich in personality.
