Modern Platinum Memory Ring with 1.90 Ct Diamonds by Günter Krauss

Memory rings are particularly symbolic pieces of jewellery. The ring band is set all around with gemstones of the same size. The name can be explained by the fact that each individual gemstone is intended to stand for a certain beautiful experience of the owner, which is thus kept alive in the memory. Memory rings are also often used as engagement or wedding rings. In this case, the term "eternity ring" is also commonly used. This ring has this classic shape - and impresses with its uncompromisingly modern design and high-quality features. It is made from solid platinum and features 26 sparkling carée-cut diamonds with a total weight of around 1.90 carats. The white gemstones have a very beautiful fire and are set flush into the ring band, making it particularly comfortable to wear. The cross-section of the ring is almost square; the ring is only slightly curved on the outside. On the visible side, the platinum areas and the diamonds are very evenly balanced, creating a calm, timeless impression. The sides are frosted. As a complete Eternity ring, the piece of jewellery is set with gemstones all around. However, this means that the ring cannot be resized. The ring is precision-crafted by hand and bears hallmarks showing that it was created in the workshop of the renowned Stuttgart goldsmith Günter Krauss. We date it to around 2000.
