Mirror - Wood, Glass - Baroque mirror

DECORATIVE ANTIQUE/VINTAGE MIRROR IN BAROQUE STYLE – GILDED FRAME WITH HAND-PAINTED FLORAL DECORATION Elegant decorative wall mirror featuring a beautifully shaped gilded frame, enriched with delicate hand-painted floral decorations. The frame has a sinuous, sculptural profile with rounded and elaborately shaped corners. Each corner is decorated with floral motifs in shades of pink, red, cream, light blue and green. The gilded finish has acquired a pleasant aged patina, with natural variations and small signs of time that enhance its authentic vintage character. The rectangular mirror has rounded corners and sits harmoniously within the gilded frame. The original rear structure is preserved, as shown in the photographs. Style and period Style: Italian Baroque/Rococo-inspired decorative style Period: 20th century, with decorative influences from the Italian tradition Materials: shaped wooden/composite structure, gilded finish, polychrome floral decoration and mirror glass. Measurements * Overall height: 95 cm * Overall width: 75 cm * Mirror height: 70 cm * Mirror width: 50 cm Measurements refer to the maximum external dimensions of the frame. Condition Good vintage condition considering its age. The frame shows normal signs of age, including small abrasions, variations in the gilding and minor imperfections to the painted decoration, particularly visible in the detailed photographs. The mirror glass also shows some normal age-related surface marks and signs of use. Please carefully examine all photographs, which form an integral part of the description. An attractive decorative piece suitable for an entrance hall, bedroom, living room, period interior, boutique or eclectic setting. Shipping note: due to the presence of mirror glass, the item will be carefully and professionally packed. Nevertheless, glass remains a fragile material and the seller cannot be held responsible for possible glass breakage occurring during transportation.
