Description of the work: A major icon of contemporary street art, Banksy’s Girl with Balloon has become a universal image, symbolizing innocence, hope, and fragility. With Girl with Balloon VS Funny Faces, this iconic work is reinterpreted as a mosaic, composed exclusively of faces making goofy expressions. Each fragment captures a spontaneous, funny, or quirky expression, revealing the diversity of human emotions. Assembled, these faces recombine the poetic silhouette of the original work, creating a striking contrast between the gravity of the initial message and the lightness of the expressions. Printed on Plexiglass, the piece gains depth, shine, and modernity, offering a decidedly contemporary and design-focused presentation intended to enhance modern interiors. From a distance: the graphic, minimalist strength of a cult image. Up close: an explosion of expressions, between humor, freedom, and spontaneity. Each piece is a signed and numbered artwork, produced in a limited edition, affirming its exclusive character and artistic value.
