Milo (1910-1978) - after - Sculpture

“The Finisher” is an expressive bronze sculpture of a male athlete at the moment of his victory. With his arms fully open, the head held high and one leg still powerfully stretched back, he seems to have just crossed the finish line. The dynamic posture and intense facial expression give the artwork a strong sense of triumph, freedom and perseverance. The carefully developed anatomy, clothing folds, hands and sports shoes emphasize the craftsmanship. Thanks to the powerful movement, the sculpture is interesting from every viewing angle. The bronze has a warm dark-brown patina with subtle lighter accents, making the shapes and fine details particularly beautifully visible. The sculpture stands on a generous pedestal of dark marble with a natural gold-brown veining. An impressive and symbolic art object for a modern or classical interior, office, reception area or sport-related collection. Also especially suitable as a gift for a major victory, athletic achievement or personal milestone. The sculpture is in good condition. Please review the extensive photo series carefully; the photos form an important part of the description. Pickup is possible by appointment. When shipping, the sculpture is packed with utmost care using ample protective material and a sturdy outer box. The protruding arms and other vulnerable parts receive extra protection. The shipment will, where possible, be provided with tracking.
