Millville, Wisconsin. Wisconsin Valley Bank. 1857 $5. PMG Very Fine 25. No. 6162. Plate A. Here bidders have a truly rare opportunity for their consideration represented by an evenly circulated $5 Obsolete issued by the Wisconsin Valley Bank during the late 1850s. Now this note previously realized $3,737.50 when it last sold as part of the Philadelphia Americana Sale (Lot 2178) conducted by Stack's in 2009. Estimate: $800 - $1,200. Provenance: From the Caine Collection. Krause Plate Note. Click here for certification details from PMG.
