Mila Schön for ArteVetro Murano - Rare Vase in Blown Murano Glass with Submerged Bubbles - Limited Edition 151/300 - 1980s Magnificent and imposing vase in Murano glass, born from the exceptional collaboration between the iconic Italian fashion house Mila Schön and the renowned glassworks ArteVetro Murano. This superb work of art represents a perfect union between geometric purity and the elegance of Milanese haute couture and the centuries-old artisanal craftsmanship of Murano glass masters. The object is part of a highly sought-after limited series of only 300 pieces worldwide; this specific piece is number 151, which gives it considerable collectible value. Artistic Features and Craftsmanship The body of the vase, hand-blown, is characterized by a complex and fascinating treatment of "submerged bubbles" (known in Murano tradition as bullicante or pulegoso effect). Thousands of micro-air bubbles have been skilfully trapped inside the dense dark glass mass, creating a three-dimensional texture and a play of light refractions that gives the work incredible depth, resembling a starry sky.
