Ancien scientific microscope M. Stiassnie Paris, marked “M. Stiassnie – 204 Boulevard Raspail – Paris”, probably dating from the early 20th century, around 1900–1920. Laboratory instrument in brass, equipped with a revolver objective turret, a circular stage, holding clips, a focusing system and an illumination device under the stage. One objective is missing on the turret, as visible in the photos. The item shows a beautiful old patina, with oxidation and signs of use appropriate to its age. A beautiful collectible piece related to French scientific and medical microscopy. ***not tested**** Rare and decorative item, highly valued by collectors of antique scientific instruments (compass, protractor, telescope, magnifying glass, sextant).
