Old pocket stereoscope H. Morin Paris, probably dating from the early 20th century, around 1890-1920. Compact optical device with a black metal frame, equipped with a prism/lens system allowing observation of stereoscopic images and the perception of a relief (3D) effect. The knurled upper device enables adjustment or deployment of the instrument. The marking « H. MORIN PARIS » is clearly visible on the case. A portable model attesting to the development of stereoscopic photography at the end of the 19th century and the beginning of the 20th. Shows signs of use, small paint loss and a patina consistent with its age. French manufacture, around 1890-1920. Very sought-after in the worlds of industrial design, scientific curiosities, antique medical technology, laboratory optics, steampunk, and rare measuring instruments. Ideal for a collector, industrial loft decoration, cabinet of curiosities, scientific display case (theodolite, microscope, sextant, compass).
