Produced for only a few months before the war interrupted everything, the TB is also recognizable by enthusiast details such as center-laced spoke wheels and a bonnet adapted to the new engine. The exemplar offered here is a 1939 model, retains its original birth engine, and is listed in the MG T Type Register. It comes with English documents and already-cleared European customs formalities and has been restored for use in races, regularity events, and historic competitions: a base of great interest for those seeking a pre-war MG to enjoy within the context of historic motoring. It is the only MG of the T series eligible to participate in the Mille Miglia. EXTERIOR The exterior paint is preserved and in good condition, with a beautiful patina and signs of time and normal use. It is in its original Red color and a polishing and detailing treatment has just been completed. The body is absolutely solid and well restored in the past. A set of widened-delivery wire wheels has been installed, along with competition front fenders (cycle fenders). A thickness gauge test did not reveal any incidents. The undercarriage is solid with no signs of accidents and has been well restored in the past, as has the chassis and the whole vehicle, making it highly usable. INTERIOR The interior is in generally good condition, with a lovely patina of age, well usable and complete. The aluminum dashboard has been restored in the past, the electrical system works, and the car is equipped with the full tonneau cover. The interior panels are in good condition and the floors are solid. MECHANICS Mechanically the car has the engine with twin carburetors, XPAG series, original from birth and typical of the model. The engine starts immediately and the car drives well; the gearbox and clutch work well, as do the brakes, and everything was restored in the past by specialists.
