Though there is some minor cleaning as well as a few scattered light rim bumps and bruises, this pleasing example nevertheless stands as a great representative of the early cap and rays series defined by the "hookneck" style eagle that defines the brief series. Charmingly hued, with excellent overall detail remaining on the eagle. Estimate: $1,000 - $2,000. Provenance: From the Liu Mung Wang (汪柳門) Collection.
