A contemporary studio pottery vase of baluster form, featuring a bulbous body that tapers to a narrow neck and a flared rim. The piece is finished in a high-gloss, dark brown metallic glaze that displays mottled oil spot effects, reminiscent of traditional Tenmoku styles. The glaze thins toward the rim, revealing an amber-toned hue. The unglazed stoneware base is monogrammed and dated with the handwritten characters RW and 2017.
