1 Lot: This item is a pair of contemporary costume jewelry dangling earrings shaped like a teardrop, made of common metal and rhinestones. Visual description and details Design: The earrings feature a hollow teardrop silhouette at the center. The main structure is entirely embellished with a row of small round rhinestones. The Stones: At the center of the drop hangs a large faceted pear-shaped crystal (briolette). Since this is commercial costume jewelry, the central stone and the small light points are made of acrylic glass (plastic/resin) or common crystal mounted on a setting. The Mounting: Made of common metal plated in yellow gold color. The hooks (ear wires with a spring and ball) show strong oxidation and a brownish tone, a sign that the superficial gold layer has worn away due to contact with the skin and with air. 2 Lot: This item is a pair of vintage costume jewelry dangling earrings, made in the shape of a spiral ribbon or helix. Visual description and details Design: The earrings feature a three-dimensional geometric structure that develops downward with a graceful, fluid spiral. Finish and materials: The outer surface of the ribbon is decorated with a brightened texture with a "diamond dust" effect or sandblasted in a light silver/gold color, designed to reflect light. The main body of the spiral and the back show a brunished or bronzed metallic tone. The upper stud (the ear hook) is in common non-precious metal.
