Theme ensemble of curiosities and popular art from the 19th and 20th centuries. This lot brings together display, office, and pocket objects characterized by careful artisanal work on organic and iridescent materials. The lot includes the following 8 pieces: 1. Large rectangular box in mother-of-pearl marquetry: • Superb geometric assembly work of natural mother-of-pearl plaques with iridescent reflections. Vintage decorative tabletop object (does not open). 2. Rare cylindrical box (snuffbox / ointment pot) in carved bone and brass: • Polished bone structure adorned with fine geometric, rhythmic engravings, topped by a brass lid with a radiating motif and a diamond-shaped handle. A very beautiful object of mastery. 3. Bust of a woman sculpted in popular art: • Light wood (or bone) sculpture depicting a female face with a very graphic braided hairstyle, presented on its exotic wood base. 4. Small round box (pill box) in mother-of-pearl and brass: • Dresser or handbag box covered with a mosaic of white mother-of-pearl, with interior in polished gilt brass. 5. Pocket watch case / pill box in gilded brass: • Smooth case of the pocket watch type (no mechanism or markings), with a hinged cover and suspension ring (bail), ideal as a retro pocket pill box. 6. Antique carved bone fountain pen holder: • Writing instrument from the late 19th century in turned bone mimicking in a stylized bamboo stalk, equipped with its original metal ferrule. 7. Vintage bone cigarette holder: • Smoking accessory in polished bone with cream patina, complete and well preserved. 8. Oval cabochon in natural polished mother-of-pearl: • Small smooth pebble-shaped element offering a magnificent white and pink nacre sheen, ideal for collection or jewelry. Condition of the lot: Generally good aesthetic condition for everyday use. Genuine antique objects with their natural patina and normal slight signs of age (small surface wear or minimal rubbing), preserving all the charm of the collection.
