Medieval bronze cross pendant. Early Medieval Period 1100-1400 AD. Owning such an object means touching real history. Crosses of this kind were an integral part of a Christian's life in Europe during that era. They served not merely as symbols of faith but were also regarded as powerful talismans, protecting their owners from illness, misfortune, and the "evil eye." Every chip, crack, and trace of wear on the bronze bears the mark of time—a silent witness to the prayers and hopes of the person who wore this cross close to their heart centuries ago. It is a genuine, "living" antique imbued with powerful energy. The patina has a refined, malachite-green hue, lending the cross a distinctive aesthetic appeal and depth. The suspension loop remains intact, allowing the cross to be worn for its intended purpose—as a pendant on a modern leather or metal cord. The metal is strong.Signs of wear consistent with age and use. Wearable. 100% original. The cross comes with a jewelry cord. Look at many photos for your own impression.100% original. Material: Bronze. Size : 27 x 19 mm. Weight: 1.91 grams. The item was purchased in 2015 in Barcelona, Spain from G.A. as part of a private Spanish collection dating back to the 1980s.
