Medical optical instrument - 1900-1910 - France - Giroux

Antique ophthalmometer or keratometer from the well-known French manufacturer L. Giroux of Paris. Circa 1900. The illumination is powered by a 6-volt transformer. The original transformer does not work. I cannot test its functionality further, but it is a very decorative instrument for a collector or for display in an eye hospital.
