The trompe-l’œil effect is extraordinary: the fingertips and fingers seem really to rest on the crystal, creating the illusion that the woman is looking at and trying to reach the observer on the other side of the glass. This high-quality print on PVC is mounted inside a natural beech wood frame that forms an integral part of the work. In place of traditional glass, a polycarbonate sheet has been inserted, chosen specifically to guarantee safety during shipping and to avoid any risk of breakage.
