For me, painting this is a way to quiet the mind and find a sense of shelter within color itself. I wanted to capture the feeling of looking at a distant horizon where time slows down, and the only necessity is to exist. These simple shapes represent those inner spaces of refuge we build inside ourselves—small anchors of warmth and silence amidst an infinite, shifting world. It is an exploration of solace, a quiet space where one can simply breathe and be. ___ I am interested in how a form can remain isolated and still alter what surrounds it. I do not seek to make these marks describe a path or have their relationships resolve into a recognizable figure. I work with the possibility that a surface can retain traces of passage, boundaries, and presences that never fully reveal themselves. Sometimes, a minimal distance between two elements is enough to change the meaning of the entire territory. **Condition and Shipping** The artwork is in excellent condition, with no damage or restoration. It is shipped unframed and unstretched, carefully rolled inside a protective tube to ensure safe delivery. **About the Artist** Maurizio Valch is a visual artist, writer, and graphic designer.
