Mastro Argentiere - Sculpture

Do you dream of a home accessory that never goes out of style, capable of catching the light and adding a touch of refined poetry to any room? This extraordinary pair of silver-plated roses with 925 silver content represents the excellence of Italian goldsmith sculpture from the second half of the 20th century. Unlike real roses that are destined to wither, these sculptures capture the grace and delicacy of nature, transforming it into a precious and eternal treasure. Each petal of the bloom has been finely shaped and embellished with a dense layer of colored enamel — one rose in brilliant ruby red hues and the other in a delicate pale pink gradient — which gives extraordinary depth and chromatic vitality. The venation details on the leaves and the thorns along the stem bear witness to the exceptional craftsmanship and attention to detail typical of great Italian metalwork. The process of enamel firing, whether kiln-fired or cold-applied, on the sculpture in precious metal is a complex technique that requires top-notch manual skills to avoid imperfections during firing. On one of the leaves the 925 stamp is clearly impressed together with the maker's mark, confirming the authenticity and quality of the metal. Perfect to display together inside a crystal vase, laid on a silver tray, or placed in a collectors’ display case. The combination of two different enamel shades (pink and red) makes this lot even more versatile and desirable than the single pieces.
