Mass Merge - Domenica Brockman

Mass Merge by Domenica Brockman Painting 18.0 x 24.0 :: Original artwork: Encaustic on panel this abstract geometric painting is part of my “Spectrum Series” an exploration into the joy of color and a study of color relationships. The raw wood background of the painting is preserved under a thin layer of clear encaustic wax. Encaustic was a favored material of the artist Jasper Johns. It is made from a combination of beeswax pigment and resin and the paint shows an unmatched quality of texture and depth in color.
