Antique Sterling silver pair of Corinthian style candlesticks with nozzles and beaded borders. Fluted style columns and square bases with hand-chased garlands and very pretty decorated with ram heads on each corner. These Victorian candlesticks are quality pieces, decoration and detailing is still very crisp. Made in Sheffield, 1894 Made by Martin, Hall & Co (Richard Martin & Ebenezer Hall) Fully English hallmarked for sterling 925 silver. The dimensions of this fine pair of hand-made antique silver candlesticks are: Length 17 cm Wide at base 9 x 9 cm Approx. 428 + 438 = 866 grams (weighted for stability) (bobèches weigh 57 grams together) Condition: Good condition! Just some very tiny pinprick indentations here and there on the base rim and due of over polishing through the years there are tiny holes on a few corners and on a column about 7 cm long.
