Certificate of authenticity: Included and signed by the artist. Broken Wall Broken Wall stems from Mart Signed’s exploration of the relationship between street art, matter, and urban memory. The project brings a fragment of the street language inside homes, galleries, and private collections, transforming a surface marked by time into a contemporary artwork. The wall is not merely the support of the image, but becomes an integral part of the work. Its surface, the cracks, the traces of time, and the natural characteristics of the material preserve the link with the urban context from which street art arises. The fracture thus becomes an element of the artistic language: the boundary between the street and the exhibition space is broken, and the urban fragment finds a new placement. The work The work does not impose a single interpretation, but leaves each observer free to find their own meaning. The stencil is created directly on the support: this is not a print or reproduction. The work depicted in the photographs is exactly the one the collector will receive. Materials and authenticity Materials recovered from the street are chosen to maintain the living connection with the original street art language. Marks, abrasions, surface variations, irregularities and natural imperfections are not defects, but elements belonging to the history of the material and to the artwork’s identity. These characteristics are deliberately preserved and integrated into the creative process. The work is signed, accompanied by the certificate of authenticity signed by the artist, and is delivered ready to hang. The frame is not included, unless otherwise indicated for the specific exemplar. Instagram and project participation The journey of the artwork can continue even after purchase.
