Marshall Mercury – Stock No. 2060 The rear plate confirms it literally: TYPE MERCURY STOCK NO. 2060 250 V – 40/60 Hz – 25 W front Mercury 2060: Speed, Intensity, Tone, Volume, tremolo with footswitch and LO/HI inputs. This vintage jewel made in England identifies itself as JMP 2060 Mercury. Unit specifications The 2060 is especially curious because it isn’t a conventional Marshall of 18/20/50 W: * Model: Mercury 2060 * Actual power: approximately 5 W * Speaker: 1 × 12” * Power stage: 1 × EL84 * Preamp: transistorized/hybrid * Tremolo: integrated * Controls: Speed, Intensity, Tone and Volume * Footswitch: dedicated input * Manufacture: England * Stock No.: 2060 The plate indicates 25 W, but that corresponds to the electrical consumption/power stated on the plate, it does not mean it delivers 25 W of guitar power. The Mercury 2060 is documented as an amplifier with about 5 W of output. Very interesting unit from a collector’s perspective, in addition to its sonic and historical value: * Original black tolex, very old. * Front panel gold, very well preserved overall. * Large, distinctive Marshall logo. * Original era grille. * Rear plate Type Mercury / Stock No. 2060. * Cabinet with considerable wear, but precisely with a patina that may be interesting for a collector. * Speaker visible from the back, original from the era.

Estimation:€550
