Marlen - Seven Wonders (SET di 7 penne) Edizione Limitata...

We present to you the Marlen Seven Wonders Collection The origin of the idea of the Seven Wonders goes back to Herodotus (484-425 B.C.) and Callimachus (305-240 B.C.), who drafted a list that included the Great Pyramid of Giza, the Hanging Gardens of Babylon, the statue of Zeus at Olympia, the Temple of Artemis at Ephesus, the Mausoleum at Halicarnassus, the Colossus of Rhodes and the Lighthouse of Alexandria. Only the Great Pyramid of Giza remains standing, while the other 6 have been destroyed by earthquakes, fires or other causes. The "New Seven Wonders of the World" is a project organized by the private foundation New7Wonders, to recreate a "Global Memory"—seven things that everyone in the world can remember and share—and includes: → The Colosseum (Rome, Italy) → The Great Wall (China) → Petra (Jordan) → Taj Mahal (Agra, India) → Machu Picchu (Peru) → Christ the Redeemer (Rio de Janeiro, Brazil) → Chichen Itza (Mexico) For each of these places, Marlen has created a very limited edition pen, in black resin, silver and shifting precious celluloid, which depicts the Wonder in the wide central band of the barrel. The wide cap band, in silver, is decorated with a composition of all 7 Wonders. The 7 wonders were then "collected" in a precious and refined wooden box that contains the complete set of all the Seven Wonders.
