Märklin Z - 8900 - Starter set (1) - DB

starter set for Z-scale railway modeling by Märklin Mini-Club, identifiable by series code 8900. Main features • Z scale (1:220): It is one of the smallest commercial scales in the world for electric trains, introduced in the 1970s. • Locomotive: A small steam locomotive with a two-axle coupled wheel arrangement. • Freight cars: Includes cars including a typical Union Pacific freight car and a tanker with the Esso logo. • Tracks and accessories: The box contains 8 curved track sections, 4 straight tracks and 1 turnout for the power supply with wires, and also a power supply that was sold separately, also from the same series. This, once checked, only runs on alternating current, so it can be used for switches and for all other accessories, lights, level crossings, etc. The locomotive, which runs on direct current, is perfectly functional, it would just need a bit of lubrication to run smoothly. The boxes show some signs of age but are intact. Check the photos carefully as they are an integral part of the description. Shipped well packaged and with tracking."
