Black boiler and dark green locomotive house and tender with red decorative lines, red running gear. The version is the one without wind-leaf plates and with the Prussian tender 2'2'T 31.5 without partitions on the coal bunker. The P 10 was developed by Borsig as a heavy passenger locomotive for routes with inclines and long trains, and was later classified by the Reichsbahn as series 39. With its high boiler and three-cylinder engine it is one of the last and most powerful designs from the Prussian tradition. Delivered in the original Märklin packaging with display window. Condition: the locomotive is in excellent, unplayed-with condition. The paint and the fine red decorative lines are intact and sharp, the valve gear and the attached detailing are complete and undamaged, and the running gear shows virtually no signs of use. The original manual, the piston rod protection tubes and all included accessories are present. Model has been tested and is functional.
