Mario Badioli - Mario Badioli - Bowl - Murano glass - MURANO TRANSPARENCY

Splendid and important centerpiece bowl in authentic Murano art glass, designed and entirely handmade by the renowned glassmaker Mario Badioli. The work stands out for its exceptional modern design with a strong visual impact. On the transparent glass base, the master applied at high heat a composition of spots and filaments of pure color — including a vibrant orange, a deep blue, with touches of red and yellow — recreating a three-dimensional abstract painting that echoes the currents of Abstract Expressionism and Pop Art. Each color retains extraordinary brightness, masterfully playing with the refraction of light. The piece is signed with a diamanté along the circumference. A unique collectible, ideal to adorn interiors of contemporary design or to enrich a collection of 20th‑ and contemporary‑century art glass. Light signs of age and wear clearly visible in the photos. Photos are an integral part of the lot description. Insured and traceable shipping.
