Very beautiful photograph by Marc Waymel, depicting Karl Lagerfeld (1933-2019), a great fashion designer, stylist and German photographer, who was one of the leading figures of contemporary fashion. Artistic director of Chanel from 1983 until his death, he also worked for Fendi and created his own fashion house. Marc Waymel is a French photographer, known notably for his portraits of personalities from cinema, music and show business. His work is mainly in the realm of celebrity photography and cultural reportage. Photographer's stamp on the back. Photograph numbered 5/14 on the back and on the mat.
