Mara Solène (1982) - Labirinto urbano

Oil painting on canvas from a collection, large in size. Hand-signed by the contemporary artist Mara Solène and with the Gallery stamp. Title: Labirinto urbano Dimensions: 70x50 cm Year: 2025 Mara Solène (1982) is a painter who works mainly with oil painting. Her research explores the human figure as space of relation between identity, presence and perception. Her works feature figures suspended between reality and imagination, with simplified forms and faces that move away from realistic portraiture to become expressive tools. At the center of her work is the relationship between the figures: the gaze, the distance and the silent tension that is built in the space of the painting. Her practice moves between figuration and distortion, in an essential search in which identity remains open and in continual transformation. Note: The artwork will be shipped in a sturdy tube suitable for shipping. The colors of the painting may differ slightly from the photos due to screen settings. In person the artworks are more beautiful than in photography: one can appreciate the hypnotic beauty of the oil colors coming to life on the canvas. Worldwide shipping via UPS courier.
