Mara. J XL - Sapphire Nightfall

A lavender blue opens the upper part of the canvas and gradually descends toward a deep indigo, almost nocturnal. Mid-height, a band of yellow and golden leaves lights up, like the last glimmer of light that crosses the foliage. Against this glow, silhouettes of dark blue leaves rise, crisp and delicate. Lower down, among the overlapping shapes, small fragments of ochre emerge, echoing the warmth of the light. The surface is tactile, built up in successive layers of vegetal imprints and glazes. A serene and luminous image is born from it, suspended in the moment when day yields to evening. Signed and dated 2026 at the bottom right Image dimensions: 90 x 70 cm Total canvas size: 100 x 80 cm The artwork is sold without a frame; it will be rolled and shipped in a cardboard tube. The certificate of authenticity is issued exclusively upon request, in digital format. Mara J. explores the beauty and intensity of nature and the human body, creating works that tell emotions and states of mind through light and form. Her landscapes evoke fluid and suspended atmospheres, where color and luminosity shape space, while the human figures, delicate and introspective, become a means of emotional expression. Each painting is an invitation to immerse oneself in a world of subtle sensations, where nature and the human being intertwine in a deep dialogue.
