Mantel clock - kienzle - Wood, Bronze - 1960-1970 - A. Boulle style

Elegant and important 1970s Boulle-style table clock, characterized by refined decorative workmanship and equipped with a Kienzle movement, with the signature also present on the dial. The clock belonged to my grandfather and, before the accident, presented itself aesthetically in very good, almost excellent condition, as documented by the photographs showing its original appearance. Unfortunately, after being viewed, it accidentally fell to the ground, resulting in the glass breaking and the mechanism shifting. The dial, the small sheet of metal with the hands, has come off. The Kienzle movement is still present. An expert clockmaker who knows this type of piece well will be able to assess the work necessary to reposition the various parts of the mechanism correctly, restore the dial, and replace the glass. This is therefore a clock of value and of collecting interest, offered in its current state exclusively as a piece to restore and intended for enthusiasts, restorers, or professionals in the field. Whoever can restore it will be able to bring to light a valuable object, with the possibility of further enhancing its value or reselling it. The photographs show the current conditions, while the last three photographs document the clock in its original aesthetic state, before the incident. It is sold in the condition in which it is found, as a restoration piece and without a guarantee of fonctionnement; before shipment I will remove the last part of the glass to protect the clock during transport. Therefore, it is advisable to carefully study all the photographs before purchase. Once properly restored, the clock will be able to return to being an important and refined furnishing element, once again highlighting its elegant Boulle-style aesthetics, the Kienzle movement, and its family history.
