• Description of the sample: A magnificent specimen of malachite characterized by a splendid and well-defined botryoidal morphology. The surface features globular and velvety formations that develop into sinuous reliefs, enriched by an intense and vibrant emerald green coloration that fades into lighter and darker tones, giving the piece extraordinary three-dimensionality and a sculptural appearance of great visual impact. • Locality of origin: Katanga Province (now subdivided, but historically known as such), Democratic Republic of the Congo. This Central African region hosts the Copperbelt (copper belt), one of the richest and vast metallogenic provinces on the planet. In this immense geological area, surface oxidation processes of the primary copper ore bodies have given rise to botryoidal, fibrous, and stalactitic malachite formations of a quality and size unique in the world, making Katanga samples the most famous and prized overall in both mineralogical and ornamental contexts. • Crystal therapy note: In crystal therapy, Malachite is regarded as the quintessential stone of deep transformation and energetic protection. Strongly linked to the heart chakra, it helps release repressed emotions, overcome past traumas, and stimulate the spirit of adventure and positive change. It also acts as a powerful protective shield, absorbing negative energies and environmental pollutants to foster spiritual healing and self-awareness. • Base not included in the shipment. NO EXTRA-EU SHIPPING
