Macallan 1962 Campbell, Hope & King - b. late 1970s - 75cl

This is a rare and collectible bottle of The Macallan Pure Highland Malt Scotch Whisky, distilled in 1962 in Craigellachie, Scotland. • Type of Whisky: Single malt Scotch whisky, matured in sherry wood casks. • Bottle Label: The front label clearly states “1962” as the distillation year, with an alcohol content of 80° proof (equivalent to 45.7% ABV). The label shows the classic Macallan design, featuring elegant serif typography and the traditional crest. It also indicates the importer (Rinaldi, Bologna) and the bottler (Campbell, Hope & King, Elgin). • Box: The original cardboard box is included, printed with the Macallan name, logo, and the distillation year. The box shows some light creases and signs of age but overall remains in very good condition. • Fill Level: The liquid level appears high in the neck of the bottle, suggesting excellent preservation over the decades. • Color of the Whisky: A deep, rich amber-brown, consistent with long maturation in sherry-seasoned oak casks, which is typical of vintage Macallan releases. • Condition: Considering its age, the bottle is in excellent overall condition, with clean labels and an intact capsule and closure. • Vintage & Collectibility: Bottles from this era, especially from the early 1960s, are highly sought after by collectors and connoisseurs. This is a remarkable piece both for investment and for those passionate about historic single malt Scotch.
