Lynyrd Skynyrd

Although CCR hailed from California, like Southern bands 38 Special and Lynyrd Skynyrd (both from Jacksonville, Florida), they drew deep inspiration from American roots music. They combine traditional blues, country, gospel, and hard rock. CCR is known as the pioneer of swamp rock. Lynyrd Skynyrd and 38 Special adopted this sultry, bluesy atmosphere and characteristic rhythm in many of their songs. 38 Special – Strength In Numbers - A&M Records – SP 5115 - USA - 1986 - Vinyl VG+, Record Sleeve VG+ 2LP Lynyrd Skynyrd – One More From The Road - MCA Records – 300 799-370 - GER - 1981 - Vinyl EX, Record Sleeve VG+ Creedence Clearwater Revival – Green River - America Records – 30 AM 6047 - FR - 1969 - Vinyl VG+ (a few hairlines), Record Sleeve VG+ Shipping PostNL, registered.
