In the foreground, on the right, a woven basket holds fruits in yellow, green and orange tones, accompanied by clusters of grapes, pears, and other fruits arranged with particular attention to chromatic balance. In the background opens an imaginary landscape, characterized by trees with finely elaborated canopies, meadows dotted with small touches of color, and a sky with delicate shades of blue, pink and yellow. The composition is coherent with the studies linked to Piacenza Fantastical Realism, a movement to which Spazzali contributed together with artists such as Gustavo Foppiani and Armodio.
