Luciano Galimberti (XX) - Barcone sul Naviglio

Oil painting on canvasboard mounted on cardboard, 35x50 cm, signed Luciano Galimberti, signed in pencil in the upper right edge as in the photo, dated and signed in pencil on the back; the dating concerns only the year of execution. The work is of a textured vedutista (view-painter) type; the color application is abundant, and the artist has focused on making the scene lively and intense rather than worrying about the proportions of the view. Nevertheless, it is a work with its own charm. The frame is in good condition but shows signs of age, with color touch-ups and scratches. It is offered as a complimentary addition.
